Toddler Program
Our toddler program (ages 16 to 34 months) offers the young child a unique year and a half to two-year program of self-development, independence, and separation from their infant stage (ages are approximate based on readiness of child to move to the Children’s House program).
Classroom Focus
Many of the activities in the toddler program focus on self-help skills that lead to independence. Children are encouraged to hang up their coats, line up their shoes, throw their garbage away and many other daily activities. The toddlers learn many creative ways to problem-solve rather than using their hands to communicate frustration.
Large muscle activities take place outdoors. They have opportunities to jump, climb, balance, and crawl.
Lots of love and hugs are given!
